Setting Your House on Fire: The Most Aries Thing Ever
A wild tale that will make you rethink impulsive decisions & exciting event announcements in NYC and LA.
The most Aries thing I ever heard came from an acquaintance who recounted this wild tale:
His cousin had recently moved into his house – the one he took out a mortgage for, mind you. (Seriously, keep that in mind.) Both of them have notoriously bad tempers, and one day they went at it. Over what? I honestly can’t recall, and I’m not sure he remembers either.
The argument escalated to the point where she locked herself in her room. His response? He stormed outside, poured gasoline on her AC window unit, and SET HIS OWN HOUSE ON FIRE.
After a moment of pure, fiery Aries passion, the gravity of the situation hit him, and he managed to put out the blaze. However, it was too late: his cousin’s boyfriend had already called the cops. They arrived quickly and arrested our fiery protagonist.
During the six months he spent in jail, his cousin and her boyfriend continued to live in his house, rent-free. When he was finally released, he genuinely couldn’t understand why she was still upset with him. His take? “You fight. You make up. What’s the big deal?”
Classic Aries: quick to anger, even quicker to forget.
Now, while I don’t anticipate any of you burning down houses (intentionally, at least!), I do want to remind everyone to take a few deep breaths. With Saturn (the ultimate buzzkill authority) currently in Aries, there might be extra harsh consequences for impulsive actions this season. You’ve been warned.
