I can’t believe I’m writing this from Chicago, hours away from checking into the United Astrology Conference and spending a week with over 1,500 astrologers in one building.
I can’t believe my new pal Catie McQ made time to speak with me before her lecture at the aforementioned conference.
I can’t believe the world keeps moving even after flinging my headphones over the airport ledge — then sprinting down two flights to retrieve them, breaking my charger in the process, all while somehow not missing my Lyft or disturbing the gentle soul praying inches from my rogue device.
And I can definitely believe, although I wish it weren’t so, that the charger on my Delta flight didn’t work, and that over half the electric sockets at O’Hare are busted — and that they just leave all those fancy chairs with outlets unplugged.
But here we are, so close to the other side of Mars square Saturn that I can feel myself growing less frustrated and angry.
Where Is This Going?
This week’s podcast is with Catie McQ, which means it’s as loud and frenetic as the genius of Catie — and also the grounding I needed during an equally dynamic eclipse season many of us will look back on in years to come with big feelings and the clarity that comes only with time.
We also get into the upcoming retrogrades: Venus, Mars, and Mercury.
And then, because it’s Catie, she wraps it all up in a sweet bow of big outer planet movements, which means you can listen to this episode five, ten, twenty years from now and still have something to take away. Even if only a reflection on the zeitgeist and something about the nature of eclipses and retrogrades.
Which is a lot, because as far as I can tell, those cycles aren’t going away. Ever.
