I never thought I’d say this, but I’m so thankful for doomsday predictions and Barbault’s Basket nonsense for showing me who my people are! By some magical act of fate and algorithm, I stumbled upon the work of Catie McQ, and we quickly bonded over a shared enthusiasm for calling out bullshit.
Her work is what I aspire to.
Moving past the machine of time, Catie takes astrology into the messy act of living — equal parts intellectual rigor and compassion.
This recording started as a way to say hello, morphed into a Substack Live, and then, when Mercury had bigger plans for us, became a bonus podcast episode where we take on doomsday predictions, the trouble with manifesting, and why we should be talking about SJ’s Basket.
